Wooden sculptures

Firewood lady

Welcome to my world of organic sculpture —where each piece begins as a humble log or forgotten scrap of firewood, and is transformed into something rich, unexpected, and deeply one-of-a-kind.

I work with locally sourced firewood and reclaimed wood, exploring its hidden shapes, flowing grain, and raw textures. Using a range of power carving tools—both large and fine—I follow the natural form of each piece, allowing curves, knots, and wild grain patterns to guide the design. My process is part exploration, part collaboration with the wood itself.

Each sculpture is treated with unique carving and finishing techniques that preserve its natural energy while enhancing the texture, contrast, and warmth. Whether abstract or functional, every creation is designed to make nature pop—to feel alive and rooted in the material’s origin story.

I’m currently exploring human shape. Open for more ideas!
