Wooden wall art

My wooden wall art is an exploration of nostalgia, memories, and the images that have stayed with us over the years. I’m drawn to familiar themes from movies, music, pop culture, and everyday life—especially iconic movie posters, characters, and imagery that instantly bring back a feeling or a moment in time. I recreate these ideas using reclaimed and recycled wood, combining carving, burning, color, and the natural character of the material to give familiar imagery a completely different life.

I usually start with a theme or an image in mind, but I never know exactly where the finished piece will take me. The grain, imperfections, texture, and shape of the wood all become part of the creative process, often leading to unexpected details and variations. The result is wooden artwork that feels both familiar and original—a handmade interpretation of nostalgic imagery designed to bring personality, memories, and a little bit of storytelling to your wall.
